Born and raised in Texas, I attended L.S.U where I received a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education. I became certified in Adapted Physical Education in 1986. During the 19 years I have been a teacher in East Baton Rouge Parish school system; I also earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology. Soccer and volleyball are my sports of choice. I play soccer in an adult recreational league and have been a soccer referee for Baton Rouge Soccer Association as well as for LHSAA.
